Uber is Making Road Maps for Self-Driving Cars in Washington D.C.
Uber self-driving cars will soon come to Washington D.C. According to the ride-hailing app, they have started collecting data to help develop it’s growing fleet of self driving cars.
To be clear, right now the cars are being driven by humans but soon, once they’ve connected enough data, the cars will be able to go full autonomous. “Our hope is that this first round of manually driven data collection will lay the foundation for testing our vehicles in self-driving mode in Washington, DC,” the company’s Advanced Technologies Group.
Since the fatal crash in March of 2018, Uber has been taking its tests very carefully so something like the crash in Arizona will never happen again.
