Everything You Need to Know about the Pixel 4!
Updated: Nov 10, 2019
The Pixel 4 launched on October 15, 2019. This Launch was crucial for Google given that Apple recently adopted many new key-features that used to be exclusive on the Pixel 3’s camera such as night mode, and deep fusion. After the Pixel 3 didn‘t do as well as most thought, some Google officials reportedly want to shut down the project, so if the Pixel 4 flops we could witness the fall of another Google-made phone or after the successful Pixel 3a ($399) we could see Google go towards the more budget-friendly options.
It came on October 15th at the Made By Google event in NYC. It came along other hardware, usually these event are pretty boring with a few stale jokes sprinkled in.
Design and Form-Factor
it isa 2280 x 1080 resolution and has a 5.7 inch display but the larger pixel XL will have a 6.4 inch display. It will have a 90 HZ display and be an OLED panel. It has a lower screen-body than the Pixel 3
It starts at a crazy $800 even more expensive than Apple‘s brand new iPhone 11. They knocked down the Pixel 3 to $500 but kept the Pixel 3a the same.
It runs a Snapdragon 855 and has 8 GB of RAM. While these specs are great on paper Google in the past has been horrible at RAM management.
The Pixel has never lead the market. The Pixel 4 didn’t change that. It used to have the best camera but it doesn’t anymore. It’s not worth the price. Save $250 and buy a OnePlus 7t. or an iPhone 11.
